Introduction

This course is one of the main courses of engineering discipline. As a primary technical course, it aims at cultivating the abilities of spatial visualization, ideation, and innovation of design.

    Mechanical Engineering

1.Learning the fundamental theory of orthographic projection method and put it into practice.
2.Cultivating the abilities of spatial visualization,ideation and imagination.
3.Fostering the abilities of writing and reading mechanical drawings. Enhancing the ability of computer drafting and innovation of design.

Introduction

This course is one of the main courses of related mechanical engineering subject. As a primary technical course, it aims at solving spatial geometric problems and theories of writing and reading mechanical drawings. The main goals of this course are as follows.

Teaching Materials Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Drawing (Third edition)
Introduction This course mainly focuses on basic knowledge of Engineering Drawing, writing and reading Engineering drawing. The basic knowledge deals with basic theory of projection, fundamentals of construction design, basic methods of representation, basic drawing skills and drawing principles. The Engineering writing and reading includes detail drawing, representations of standard parts and commonly-used parts, and assembly drawing. The specified contents:
1.Projection methods.
2.Skill of computer 3D modeling.
3.Representations of computer layouts.
4.Related national standards and rules.
